Service and Calibration

CMM Technologies have been performing CMM calibrations for many years on all types of Horizontal Arm and Bridge type CMM's. All Calibration equipment used is traceable to National Standards via accredited laboratories to NAMAS or UKAS standards. All our engineers are experieinced in the service, repair and calibration of the below types of CMM.

The Service

During the Service and Calibration, the CMM will be completely stripped down and all bearings, encoders, rails and plate will be thoroughly cleaned. The plate is then levelled using our levelling device accurate to 10µm over a metre. Next the CMM is calibrated and mechanically adjusted if required, and then using our Renishaw XL-80 Laser we check the Linear measurements and errormap if necessary.

Laser Calibration

As well as a full Service and Calibration, we can offer a Laser Calibration Only Service. Utilising our Renishaw XL-80 Laser we check the Linear measurements on your CMM and errormap if necessary.
